Professor Sir Ian Gilmore is a Past- President of the Royal College of Physicians. He is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at the Royal Liverpool University Hospitals and an Honorary Professor at the Department of Medicine, University of Liverpool. His speciality interest is liver disease. Sir Ian was also a Commissioner for Sir Michael Marmot’s review of the social determinants of health in the UK. He chairs the Alcohol Health Alliance UK and is a member of the Responsible Gambling Strategy Board.
