Michael Blastland

Michael Blastland is a freelance writer and broadcaster with an interest in evidence for public policy. He was the founder of More or Less on Radio 4, a programme about numbers in public argument, and presented the Human Zoo, about psychology, among many other programmes. Books include The Tiger that Isn’t, written with Andrew Dilnot, about Numbers in the News. He teaches new and senior BBC journalists about reporting data and statistics, speaks to and advises business, government and others, and most recently joined the board of the newly-founded Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication at Cambridge. Michael is a member of the Implementation Advisory Panel for the Behaviour Change by Design programme.
